Easy Floral Accents

It's always nice to add a simple floral arrangement to the countertop decor. This one is following the German Oktoberfest dinner party theme by using two glass drinking boots as vases.

Quick explanation: A beer boot is a boot-shaped beer glass. Beer boots exist in sizes ranging from 0.5 litres up to 5 litres, but 2 litres is a more typical size. Beer boots are commonly consumed communally and are popular with younger people as part of drinking games.

Costco is always a great source for fresh cut flowers. For this arrangement I purchased two bunches of sunflowers and one bunch of baby's breath.

Simple to arrange by cutting the ends of the sunflowers to the desired lengths. I added in the eucalyptus sprigs that were included, then filled the space with the baby's breath. Before filling with water, I added the floral preservative packets to each vase. Fill with water, set in place, and give it a final look.
