Savoring the Last Blooms
I made a loose arrangement of the hydrangeas. Filled a mason jar that happened to be on my kitchen counter with the roses and made three nice nosegays with the lavender. Savoring the lasts bits of summer.

Growing Roots
This is a progress update on the little plant slips I brought home from my trip to Wyoming. I'm pleased to report that in less than three weeks roots are growing! I took a few minutes to refresh the water in the little vases and checked the status.

New Starts from Old Stock
My procurement of plant "starts" continued as I was able to take geranium cuttings from four plants that are at least 50 years old and then starts from a massive begonia and prayer plant my aunt has tended for many years.
